Description
The Laman Padi Rice Museum was built in 1998 at the edge of a fully-operating 14-acre paddy field to showcase the historical and cultural importance of traditional rice farming in the region. The main museum houses artifacts, tools and historical photos, but the farm is set up as a Living Museum for the preservation of traditional paddy-farming techniques.
